Florida’s only KEYS-BASED National touring PRO LATE MODEL STOCK CAR RACING TEAM is dedicating it’s 2019 season to raising awareness for Monroe County, Florida charities and promoting economic development in the Florida Keys. Race team proceeds from competition go directly to hurricane Irma redevelopment efforts and causes near and dear to our hearts. We would love to have you along for the ride.
On September 10, 2017, hurricane Irma made landfall on U.S. soil at Cudjoe Key, Florida. After wreaking havoc throughout the Caribbean, southern Bahamas, and Cuba, the category 4 storm with sustained winds of 130 mph unleashed its fury on the Florida Keys.
Less than two months later, the resilent Conch Republic was open for business. With many of its residents still in need of relief, the spirit of the Keys persevered, and life on the rock remains unfettered by even the most powerful of storms.
Cudjoe Key based Horak Racing felt the full force and fury of hurricane Irma as her eye passed directly overhead. Battered but not beaten, Horak is focused on helping those who remain in need. Furthermore, the team is dedicating 100% of its motorsports platform in 2019 to raising awareness for, and promoting the Florida Keys.
